SlideDog solves the problem of integrating information from multiple media into a single presentation. The tool works by creating a playlist, to which you can add PowerPoint and Prezi presentations, PDF documents, movies, and even such Internet resources as webpages and YouTube video. These resources are then displayed in a given sequence with transition effects between them.
The tool is extremely easy to use, as you can simply drag and drop the elements to present onto the main window. You can also set other parameters, such as background color and transitions. Just as the latest PowerPoint versions, the program supports dual screen, which allows you to have access to additional information that the audience cannot view, including notes, next slide, etc. It also includes the highly convenient option of controlling the presentation remotely from another computer, a tablet or, a smartphone. Likewise, you can share the presentation with your audience as a live stream that they can visualize in their own devices. Regrettably, this requires a server. Luckily, the program also supports including elements that allow the participants to interact with you, such as feedback, polls, and chat.
All in all, SlideDog is an excellent solution that avoids switching between programs during a presentation and makes it noticeably more fluid. Besides, as the contents are shown in their original formats, there is no distortion of the image. Therefore, this is a program I highly recommend to presenters and lecturers.
